 Majorica pearls are organic man made pearls that are similar to cultured pearls that have been produced off the island of Mallorca, Spain since 1890. Minute crystals are imbedded in the covering of fish scales to create the pearl essence or nacre of each pearl. A round nucleus is made of opaque porcelain.
